Getting to IIT - Bombay

IIT Bombay is located at Powai, which is an eastern suburb in the North-Eastern part of Mumbai.

From Airport:

International flights land at Terminal 2, Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport (Sahar Airport), which is about 10 kms from IIT Bombay. The Domestic Airport is at Terminal1A and Terminal 1B (SantaCruz), which is about 15 kms. Call taxis and Pre-paid taxis and autorickshaws are available at the airports.

From Railway station:
If coming on the central railway line (from south of Mumbai) and south west coast (konkan) harbour line, the nearest suburban railway station is Kanjurmarg (2kms) and express train stop is Dadar. For more details, visit this page.
