• IQuE provides an automated mechanism that measures the alignment of assessment instruments (AI) against a set of learning objectives (LOs) of a course.
• IQuE accepts course syllabus, set of LOs and domain ontology for the course domain as input.
• It uses an ontology based representation mechanism to integrate the knowledge extracted from LOs and AI into domain ontology.
• The alignment is calculated in terms of content and cognitive level.
• It provides a visual representation of alignment and calculates its alignment score in percentage.
• IQuE also has a training module that can be used for training novice teachers in creating a good AI.
• IQuE has an add on teacher training module that can be used to train teachers to write good assessment questions against a given LO
• The IQuE system checks the alignment of the teacher written question/questions against the displayed LO/LOs and gives corrective or advisory feedback.
• Depending on the nature of the feedback, the teacher is told to modify the question or move to the next LO.
