Details of the Admission Process for Mtech and PhD for year 2026-27 :
The M.Tech. and Ph.D. admission call letters have been shared with the shortlisted students.
1. Dates:
a. M.Tech. admissions: Written test, and interview for those who qualify, on Monday, 11 May 2026. Written test Venue: LC301, Lecture Hall Complex, IIT Bombay.
b. Ph.D. admissions: Written test, and interview for those who qualify, on Wednesday, 13 May 2026. Written test Venue: LT002, Lecture Hall Complex, IIT Bombay
2. Exam Mode (both M.Tech. and Ph.D.): The exam mode is physical/in-person and not online/VC.
3. Documents: Please bring the documents mentioned in the call letter. Without these documents, the candidate may not be allowed to appear for the exam.
4. Accommodation: Accommodation will be provided one day before the exam date in the student hostels.
5. No requests for a change in the exam date will be considered. If examinations from different departments overlap, candidates should decide at their own discretion which department/centre examination to appear for.
