The Educational Technology department at IIT Bombay has multiple labs which facilitate research and development of Educational technology.

  • The EdTech Research lab (EdTech RLab) facilitates Ph.D. research scholars to do collaborative research and work on their thesis.
  • The EdTech Development lab (EdTech DLab) is packed with emerging technology tools like Virtual Reality HMDs, 3D printers, physical computing devices and high-end workstations.
  • The EdTech Study lab (EdTech SLab) is equipped with Two way mirror arrangements to conduct experimental studies with participants.
  • The EdTech NextEd lab is a sponsored lab by NextEd Pvt. to facilitate research in the field of Educational technology.
Facilities and equipment in our lab

Facilities in our lab include a library, a video conferencing setup, a smart classroom with digital white board and a warm dining area.

The equipment in our lab incorporate the latest technologies to explore and tinker with. The following are a few:
